The first part of Witch Boy is defintely our favorite!!! My daughter loved the story of bullying inside a family and how the character found support outside. She quotes the book whenever we encounter a person who feels "different" or not as they’re supposed to be, or not following societal expectations.

I bought this book initially because the author/illustrator is from my hometown, and because he is one of the best illustrators on the planet.
