Repro Wound Badge in BlackThe wound badge in black was awarded for being wounded 1 to 2 times by hostile action. This is one of the most common awards in the German army. This is a reproduction of the solid version of the wound badge not the hollow back stamped version. This is just a manufacturing variation. This is the best looking reproduction I have seen, which is why I chose to stock it. I have avoided medals for a long time simply because the quality just wasn't there
