Louis Latour Vire Clesee 75 ClLying in the north of the Mconnais between Tournus and Mcon, Vir Cless is one of Burgundy's newest appellations. It was formed to bring together the villages of Vir and Cless which until 1999 bottled their wines as Mcon Cless and Mcon Vir. The Chardonnay of Vir Cless is distinctly different from the appellations further to the south such as Pouilly Fuiss and Saint Vran.
