The item came in minimalist packaging. The mat came out and was ready to use immediately. The build quality is great with no distortions in shape that I had with a lower quality gaming mouse pad I was gifted once. BUT, expecting a USB compatible wire that fits into a normal plug, I needed an adapter to be able to plug it into a plug adapter. The ad needs to be able to highlight the fact that you may need an adapter.
