This map is in rather good condition with a few small stains. I did not see and tears and the silk feels pretty strong. Some of these just feel fragile but you can handle this without fear of destroying it. Unfortunately, I did not see military markings or a date.

Very soft and cozy throw blanket, very pretty light pink color. It's big enough for one person like most throw blankets. Crazy coupon lady cued me into a discount so I got for a great price. My only complaint is that it leaves fuzzies everywhere- I highly recommend washing it before using- see pictures. Over all though a great throw blanket - soft and breathable fabric- worth the cost, but I've never seen a blanket throw so many fuzzies out of the package. Recommended, unless you're wearing a black suit.
