From 1958 Drewo also worked as sideman for Paul Kuhn, Max Greger and other German orchestra conductors and co founder of the Clarke Boland Big Band. In the 70s and early 80s he worked with Art Farmer and Peter Herbolzheimer. These rare sessions were recorded for German radio and feature Drewo as a member of quartet, quintet and septet line ups.
