Pollopas DRGM ThermosOriginal D. R. G. M. marked Pollopas light green thermos. Pollopas is an early plastic (phenolic resin) similar to Bakelite. It started production in 1929 and civil production stopped in 1939 at the beginning of the war. Pollopas designs were considered extremely forward looking in color and shape. The thermos has a glass insert. It is in overall good condition with a few small dents and light wear.

I bought this on sale for $69. I find this watch attractive. However In 2 months it lost 3 minutes, not a killer but in 2023 there is no need. My last watch cost $39 and had near perfect time over a year. Then died lol. The band is heavy and impressive but. It was larger than my wrist and needed a jeweler to remove a link. That can be typical for a metal band, I’m hairy and the hair gets caught and pinches. I’m thinking of a leather band. Ok all and all, looks like a more expensive watch. I’m not happy but I’ll keep it.
