The ramp has a hook rail that attaches to the door keepers for secure, 3 point contact and support across the width of the ramp and a tab that inserts into the keepers preventing lateral movement of the ramp during use.

I love these plates. I have been buying them for a couple of years and I think they are a great value. I use them to feed my cats and dog, and for reheating leftovers for lunch at work.
