Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Bought this Tissot as a gift for my wife because she likes larger watches. She has small wrists and this watch looks great on her. The dial is beautiful, the case is well made and the mechanism is very accurate running +4 seconds per day out of the box. Power reserve is great keeping the watch running for up to 3 days. I think this watch is a bit too dressy for a man, but this is my taste. My wife loves it.
