One of the contact plates is a little loose and can wiggle itself into a position where it doesn't contact the on off switch. There is a little rust inside, but nothing too bad. So far so good! Our Belgian Malinois/Black Lab mix goes through other brands of squeaky tennis balls in a matter of days. Including the ones that cost 2.00 a piece. Thrilled to see that the first one is still intact after a couple of weeks of play. She must squeak them if they are in her mouth so they do get quite a workout. I would highly recommend them.
