Keshan liegt an der alten Seidenstrae zwischen Isfahan und Teheran hier werden seit Jahrhunderten einige der klassischsten Perserteppiche geknpft. Aus Keshan, einer der ltesten Teppichstdte Persiens an der Seidenstrae der Ardebil Teppich im Victoria & Albert Museum soll hier im 16. Jahrhundert entstanden sein.
